Pin the icon to your toolbar.
Click the icon to open Adaptive Content Filter.
First run
Choose Kids, Work, Focus, or Study, or skip and add your own words.
Optionally turn on adult image safety for on-device blur of sensitive images.
Describe how browsing should feel in Ask, Speed Box (⌘⇧K), or Home, then review before applying.
Lock Settings with a PIN if this is a shared or Kids device.
Keep browsing. Filters apply as you go.

Check the toolbar icon and site access. If the extension is off for that site, turn it back on. Add a mode or a few words, review-apply if needed, then refresh.

No. Modes, words, and website rules work locally. Optional Describe routes need a gateway model, your keys, or an on-device pack when available.
An on-device model blurs sensitive images when you enable it. Images are not sent to a cloud vision service for that detection.
Settings Lock protects preferences with a 4 to 8 digit PIN, a recovery key, and unlock durations you choose. Applying locked changes may ask for the PIN.
Yes. Export your configuration, save the file, then import it on the other device. Cloud sync is not required.
Yes, with site section targets and platform tuning. You can still refine a site when the default feel is not quite right.
